Laser Drill Holes

A laser drill hole is part of an artificial treatment used to improve a diamond’s clarity.  Lasers are used to drill tiny needle-like tubes from the diamond’s surface to a dark inclusion.  The diamond will then be soaked in acid, where it will go through the tube and dissolve the inclusion.
